Lottie Gerber
Centre Manager, Nominated Supervisor
Wanted to be Cher Meet Lottie, who has been with us since September 2025 and brings a wealth of expertise and passion to her role as Centre Manager. Holding a Bachelor of Business from UTS, Lottie’s extensive career journey has seen her excel across a range of fields, from social finance and education to freelance makeup artistry working with Vogue. With a deep understanding of social impact and a commitment to bettering society, Lottie is driven by a mission to build the best possible service at SHARE, where families choose to enrol their children not just out of necessity but for the immense value and enrichment it brings to their childhood development. Lottie’s diverse background includes seven years previously working at SHARE as an educator and WHS leader, where she honed her skills in creating environments that foster growth and creativity. Her time in social finance introduced her to the power of businesses to meet social impact goals, and her experience teaching accounting at UTS further underscores her ability to think strategically while maintaining a people-centered focus. A lover of a good swim at Clovelly, ceramics, and netball, Lottie values balance in her life, constantly seeking out new experiences—from trying new restaurants to reading. Her freelance makeup business, spanning over a decade and involving work on films, TV commercials, and weddings, has also allowed her to embrace her creative side. Lottie strongly believes in the duty of adults to advocate for and facilitate children’s rights, particularly their right to play and have a voice in how they live. She feels that at OOSH, we play a critical role in ensuring these rights are upheld, and she is committed to providing a stable, enriching environment where every child can thrive. Lottie’s combination of business acumen, dedication to social impact, and respect for diverse family experiences make her a valued and inspiring leader within our community. Margaret Borg
Assistant Coordinator
Wanted to be Dr Dolittle Margaret has been a dedicated member of the SHARE team since 2004 and currently serves as Assistant Coordinator. She holds an Associate Diploma in Social Science (Child Studies) and brings over two decades of experience, leadership, and commitment to high-quality early childhood education and care. Margaret is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel confident to explore, express themselves, and develop at their own pace. She strongly believes in the importance of play as a fundamental right of every child and works closely with families and the broader community to advocate for its value in early learning. After two decades at SHARE, Margaret has seen it all—from glitter explosions to impromptu science experiments—and wouldn’t have it any other way. A passionate mentor, Margaret plays a key role in supporting and guiding educators across the service. She is focused on setting and upholding professional standards, ensuring a safe and supportive space not only for children but also for her colleagues. Her leadership includes staying informed on sector developments, improving digital literacy, and continuously enhancing program quality to reflect best practices and the evolving needs of children and families. Outside of her professional life, Margaret enjoys reading, walking, gardening, cooking and baking, pottery, and learning new skills—such as knitting. She also treasures time spent with her grandchildren, especially their shared adventures and moments of mischief. Margaret lives and works on unceded Darug land, traditionally cared for by the Cennemegal and Weymali clans.

Wanted to be an artist or ballerina Meet Isabella, who joined us in February 2023 and brings a wealth of creativity and enthusiasm to her role. Currently pursuing a Master of Teaching in Primary Education at UTS and with a Bachelor of Graphic Design, she brings a strong visual and artistic skill set, which she applies to a range of hands-on, creative activities. Outside of her professional life, Isabella enjoys dancing, camping, gardening, and exploring her artistic interests. She is also fluent in Spanish and has completed courses in art therapy, which enhances her ability to support children’s emotional and creative development. Isabella is passionate about combining her creative background with her teaching studies to make a meaningful impact on the children she works with. Luca Bedding
RP, Kindergarten Leader, Kitchen Team, Educator
Wanted to be an astronomer Meet Luca, a passionate educator who has been with SHARE for several years and brings a strong foundation in supporting school-aged children. With a Diploma in Education of School-Aged Children, Luca is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to express themselves. Currently pursuing further studies to expand her knowledge and skills, she applies her learnings to build positive relationships and foster growth in the children she works with. Sonas Ferrier

Wanted to be a dog-sitter Meet Sonas, one of our new dedicated educators and a leader in our kindergarten program. With a background as a certified art therapist, she brings years of experience in using creative activities to support children's emotional well-being. Originally from Scotland, Sonas made the exciting move to Australia to further her career in working with children. Her expertise in art therapy and passion for nurturing young minds make her an invaluable member of our team. Whether guiding a therapeutic session or helping children express themselves, Sonas always creates a positive and supportive environment. Sonas lives on unceded Gadigal and Wangal country.
Sean Comer
Kindergarten Leader, Educator
Wanted to be a football player Meet Sean, one of our newer team members who’s already making a big impact. Currently studying Primary Education at Macquarie University, Sean brings a fresh perspective, plenty of enthusiasm, and a passion for both learning and teaching to our centre. As one of our 2025 Kindergarten Leaders, he’s been instrumental in helping our new children settle in and adjust to life at SHARE. Outside of work and his studies, Sean is a budding bird photographer with an eye for capturing the perfect shot. He also has experience coaching underage football teams, making him the go-to person for our soccer-loving children. Sean lives on unceded Gadigal and Wangal country.
Lauren Pearson

Naomi Segmund
Year 5/6 Leader, Educator
Wanted to be a nurse Meet Naomi, who’s infamous for her epic oval games. Naomi has been a cornerstone of our team since 2001, and her energy and creativity are contagious. A self-taught craft enthusiast, Naomi enjoys experimenting with a variety of projects, with a particular love for pottery (she’s even taken a few courses to refine her skills). Whether she’s leading an immersive craft activity or organizing a thrilling game of "Catch the Dragon’s Tail" on the oval, Naomi always brings something fun and engaging to the table. Kurt Ramjan
Year 5/6 Leader, Educator
Wanted to be an actor Meet Kurt, who has been with us since 2018 and brings a wealth of experience to his role, having worked in OOSH services since 2011. A graduate of NIDA with an acting degree, Kurt is driven by a passion for the entertainment industry and aims to create work that is both creatively fulfilling and impactful. His training in acting has equipped him with a unique ability to facilitate engaging, imaginative activities that encourage self-expression and confidence in children. Outside of his creative work, Kurt is a dedicated sports enthusiast with a competitive background in rugby league, soccer, and squash. He values the opportunity to help children not only develop physical skills but also grow emotionally and socially through diverse activities. Kurt believes that OOSH educators have a critical role in fostering an environment where children can explore new interests, engage with peers across different age groups, and gain confidence in themselves and the world around them. His combination of artistic training and deep understanding of child development makes him a valued member of our team Kurt lives on unceded Gadigal country.
Rose Meyer
Year 5/6 Leader, Educator
Wanted to be a dancer Meet Rose, a dedicated educator who has always felt a calling to work with children. With a background in social work and a strong passion for teaching, she is committed to creating a safe and trusting space for children at SHARE. Rose enjoys engaging in a variety of activities with the children, from crafts like crocheting and drawing to baking and solving puzzles. She particularly enjoys teaching children how to crochet, and hopes to continue sharing this skill with others. Rose is driven by the desire to ensure every child feels comfortable, supported, and valued in an environment where they can have fun, express themselves, and be themselves. With plans to further her studies in early childhood education in the future, Rose is dedicated to continually developing her skills to better support the children in her care. Sofie Deveril
WHS/First Aid Leader, Educator
Wanted to be a vet/zookeeper Meet Sofie, who joined SHARE in July 2023 and brings six years of experience working in OOSH services. Currently studying nursing, Sofie aspires to specialise in midwifery, children’s oncology, or rural and remote nursing in the future. Sofie is instrumental as a WHS and First Aid Leader as she uses her own professional knowledge to uphold our safety standards at SHARE. Her passion for nature, especially Australian flora and fauna, is matched by her training as a florist. Sofie believes her role is essential in providing children with a "third space" outside of school and home, where they can explore, play, and develop their social and emotional intelligence. She creates an environment where children of all ages feel confident, safe, and free to be themselves. Outside of work, Sofie enjoys reading, exercising, and caring for her 2-meter-long carpet python. With her combination of experience and empathy, Sofie is committed to supporting children’s growth and well-being. Sofie lives on unceded Gadigal country.
Wanted to be a lego designer Meet Alec, our Work Health and Safety (WHS) and First Aid leader, who plays an essential role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for children, families, and staff at SHARE. Alec oversees safety procedures and ensures that staff are well-prepared to respond effectively to any health and safety needs, allowing the team to focus on delivering high-quality care and education. Alec is currently studying Secondary Education at the University of Sydney, specialising in History and Geography. His goal is to become a high school history teacher and support young people’s learning and development. Having spent many afternoons as a child attending Out of School Hours (OOSH) care, Alec understands how important it is for educators to create engaging and enjoyable experiences that children look forward to. Those experiences made a lasting impression on him and continue to shape his commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing and growth. Outside of work and study, Alec enjoys exercising at the gym, watching movies, and spending time with his dog. He has a sporting background in cricket and tennis and is a lifelong Lego enthusiast. Leah Maier
Kitchen Leader, Educator
Wanted to be a dentist Meet Leah, who joined us in May 2024 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fashion Design at FDS TAFE. Leah is passionate about sustainable fashion and aspires to work as a sustainable fashion consultant, helping fast fashion companies implement sustainability policies. Her love for textiles is evident in her hobbies, which include sewing (she even makes most of her own clothes) and fibre arts such as knitting and crochet. Before joining SHARE, Leah worked as a teacher's assistant for a year, primarily supporting in the craft room where she taught children how to knit, sew, and crochet. Leah brings this experience into her role at SHARE, incorporating creative, hands-on activities into her work with children. Leah is also fluent in German, which adds a unique cultural perspective to her teaching style. Her diverse background and passion for creativity make her a valued member of our team, where she continues to inspire and teach through artistic activities. Ethan Gandler

Wanted to be a train driver Meet Ethan, whose work combines creativity, community spirit, and a passion for meaningful connection. As a valued member of the kitchen team, Ethan plays a key role in preparing nourishing, healthy meals that support children’s wellbeing and energy throughout the day. His love of cooking aligns with his belief in the importance of care, balance, and quality in everything he does. With a background in marketing, copywriting, and graphic design, Ethan also brings a versatile creative skill set to the tea - helping to communicate, engage, and build strong relationships with families, educators, and the broader community. Having lived in the US for five years before returning to Australia, Ethan brings a global perspective and a strong commitment to social equity. His goals are simple but powerful: to support his colleagues and contribute meaningfully to the community he lives in. For Ethan, working at SHARE isn’t just a job—it’s a way to give back and make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Outside of work, Ethan enjoys playing music, writing, reading, and staying active in local causes. His creativity, sense of purpose, and love of community are at the heart of everything he does - both in and out of the kitchen. Ethan lives and works on unceded Wangal Country.

Kiki Norrish
Educator
Wanted to be a postman Meet Kiki, our future healthcare superhero! Kiki is passionate about helping others and is currently in her final year of a nursing degree at the University of Sydney. She's exploring her options and considering a specialty in child and family nursing, midwifery, or even medicine. Kiki’s wealth of knowledge has helped us immensely at SHARE with first aid practical information. When she’s not busy shaping the future of healthcare, Kiki can be found strumming her guitar, getting lost in a good book with a matcha in hand, or creating one-of-a-kind collages. Oh, and if you ever need advice on pet ducks, lorikeets, cats, dogs, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, frogs, or even silkworms? Kiki has all of those and is your go-to. Elana Rangel
Educator
Wanted to be a mermaid Meet Elana, a dedicated team member currently pursuing a Bachelor of Criminology at UTS with aspirations of working in border security. While focused on her studies, Elana’s passion for working with children has brought her to SHARE, where she thrives in creating a fun, supportive, and dynamic environment for the kids. Outside of work, Elana loves to travel, spend time at the beach, skateboard, and ski. She’s also a creative spirit, with a keen interest in painting, making artwork, and playing music. These hobbies fuel her creativity and bring an extra spark to her role with the children. Elana finds great joy in working with kids, appreciating their humor and the excitement that each day brings. She feels that this job has helped her grow in patience and resilience, and she is committed to ensuring that every child has a fun and memorable time at SHARE. Building meaningful relationships with each child is important to her, as she wants them to feel happy, supported, and valued while in care. As a former SHARE participant, Sophia’s journey has come full circle—she now contributes behind the scenes to the same community that supported her as a child. Currently studying a Bachelor of Marketing and Media at Macquarie University, Sophia is passionate about using her growing knowledge to support real-world projects and make a meaningful impact. At SHARE, Sophia plays a key role in shaping our digital presence. From working on our website design to contributing to broader marketing strategies, she brings a fresh perspective and a strong eye for detail. Whether it's crafting engaging content or thinking creatively about how we connect with our audience, Sophia’s work helps ensure that our values and programs shine through in everything we share online. Sharon Gabriel
Educator
Wanted to be a ballerina Meet Sharon, a dedicated professional with a passion for lifelong learning and over 20 years of experience in community support, training, facilitation, administration, and youth-focused education. Sharon is currently working on credentials in the Neurodiversity sphere, continuing to expand her knowledge and expertise. As a mum of two teenage girls, Sharon is driven by the goal of being a positive role model, both for her children and the children she works with. She holds a Cert. IV in Children’s Services, Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, and has earned certifications in trauma-informed mentoring, mental health, and youth mentoring. Sharon’s extensive experience and commitment to supporting children’s development make her a valuable member of our team. With a focus on providing care and guidance rooted in understanding, respect, and empathy, Sharon is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and helping them navigate their own growth and challenges. April Neale
Educator
Wanted to be a firefighter Meet April, who brings a strong passion for history and education to her role. Currently pursuing a degree in Archaeology at the University of Sydney, April applies her academic background to engage children in dynamic and enriching learning experiences. Her previous experience working at a dinosaur museum has honed her ability to connect with young learners and foster their curiosity in a meaningful way. Outside of her professional life, April enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and relaxing at the beach. Having been an OOSH attendee herself, she understands the importance of creating a positive and welcoming environment for children. April is committed to ensuring that OOSH remains a space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn and grow. April’s experience includes hands-on work in archaeology, including the discovery of dinosaur bones, which she eagerly shares with children to spark their imagination and interest in the natural world. Mataya (Taya) Coren
Educator
Wanted to be an FBI agent Meet Taya, who brings a wealth of experience and a strong passion for helping others to her role at SHARE. Taya’s career goals are centered around the healthcare field, with aspirations to become a paramedic and work in intensive care before transitioning into project management at Ambulance NSW. Ultimately, she plans to return to nursing and complete her degree to work as a registered nurse in the emergency department. Outside of her professional goals, Taya is deeply involved in music and sports. She enjoys making music with her brother and friends, playing both guitar and bass, and has a passion for netball and football. Taya also loves watching a variety of sports, and in high school, she earned her Cert III in Nursing at TAFE, gaining valuable experience working as an AIN in acute and aged care. She is trained in First Aid and CPR, and previously taught children bass and guitar and coached netball teams. Having attended SHARE as a child, Taya knows firsthand the positive impact a supportive and nurturing environment can have. Her goal in OOSH is to create a space where children feel safe, heard, and respected, much like she did as a child. Taya is committed to helping children build confidence, develop positive memories, and receive the encouragement they need to thrive, making a lasting and meaningful impact during their time at SHARE. Chee Yen Teh (Yen)

Wanted to bring happiness to all! Meet Yen, a dedicated new member of our team with a passion for child development and education. Yen’s career goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel encouraged and inspired to learn through play. In the long term, Yen aspires to deepen her understanding of child behaviour management and take on leadership responsibilities, guiding and mentoring children to become confident and capable individuals. Outside of work, Yen enjoys exploring nature on walks, discovering new food spots, and engaging in fun activities with her friends, whether it’s trying out new crafts or enjoying quality time together. She also loves staying active through sports like badminton, pickleball, and squash. With a background in animal rehabilitation, Yen has developed strong skills in patience, gentleness, and attention to detail, all of which she brings to her work at SHARE. Yen is committed to creating an environment where every child feels heard, supported, and encouraged, making a positive impact on their development and ensuring their time at OOSH is both memorable and enriching.
