Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment from the Commonwealth Government to assist families with child care fees. Parents must apply to be assessed for CCS, either online or at Centrelink. Parents who were previously assessed for CCB/CCR can complete an online assessment via their myGov account. Parents are then responsible for confirming enrolments and updating their income and activity hours via their myGov account.
In order for SHARE to receive CCS on your behalf you must ensure that the following details are clearly provided on your child’s enrolment form:
-
Customer Reference Number (CRN) of the child/ren you are enrolling, and their date(s) of birth; and
-
CRN of the parent who will be claiming the rebate, and their date of birth.
-
Once a child is enrolled, parents need to confirm their child’s enrolment at the service via their myGov account in order for CCS to be paid.
