At SHARE, we believe school holidays should be a time for discovery, adventure, and connection. Our Vacation Care program goes beyond the ordinary, offering children a vibrant mix of creative activities, exciting excursions, and enriching incursions. From hands-on workshops to thrilling outings, we create a safe and inspiring space where kids can explore their interests, build friendships, and make unforgettable memories. SHARE is more than just childcare – it’s a place where curiosity is nurtured, and every day is an opportunity for growth and fun.

How to Book

Enrolments, bookings, and payments are all managed through the OWNA app. Parents can easily make casual bookings, notify us of any absences, or manage their child's enrolment through the app.

Priority of Access

SHARE aims to provide Vacation Care for school-aged children needing care during the holidays. Priority access is given based on your current enrolment in SHARE's Before & After School Care program, as well as government guidelines.

Priority of Access Categories:

  1. Cat 1: Families using our Before & After School Care service

  2. Cat 2: Families with children at SHPS on the B&A waiting list

  3. Cat 3: Families with children at SHPS who only need Vacation Care

  4. Cat 4: Families using another B&A service but needing Vacation Care

Please note that the Vacation Care program is separate from Before & After School Care, so attendance patterns do not automatically carry over. When booking your child, permission forms must be read thoroughly.

Waitlist Process

If a spot is unavailable, you can join the waitlist for that day. If a spot opens up due to a cancellation or absence, the OWNA app will notify families on the waitlist. For high-demand days with 12 or more children on the waitlist, we may increase available spots by 12.

Cancellations
  • 10-Day Notice: Cancellations require at least 10 calendar days’ notice for a refund. If you cancel with less than 10 days' notice, no refund will be issued, and your child will be marked as absent.

  • Non-Cancellable Periods: In January there will be certain periods during which bookings cannot be cancelled, and the booking fee will be charged regardless of attendance. These periods will be communicated to parents in advance, so please refer to the specific information sent out for those dates.

Food & Allergies

SHARE is an allergy-aware service. Please avoid sending foods with peanuts or nuts. We provide breakfast and afternoon tea (with breakfast available until 8:30 AM). Parents must provide morning tea and lunch. On non-excursion days, lunch orders can be made by 10 AM.

Health & Safety

SHARE provides red hats and sunscreen for all children. Please ensure your child wears sensible shoes. If your child is unwell, please keep them at home and inform us. Children with asthma or anaphylaxis must have an action plan in place and bring their medication (e.g., Ventolin inhaler, EpiPen) in the original container with clear instructions.
